ABOUT ME

I'm a Designer specialising in Level and UI Design, although I am willing to branch out into other areas if needed. I have a deep love for Diagetic UI's such as those found in Dead Space, Halo, Metroid Prime, etc. but most of all I love UI's that go above and beyond in terms of how they can look and feel, for example the sleek and smooth fly-out menu's of Destiny 2 and the bold, punchy UI of Persona 5, that so effectively reflects the narrative themes of rebellion by breaking many of the common rules of UI design with elegant flair. I also have a love for deep, immersive levels with hundreds of little details and secrets to be rooted out by the player, like the Palisade Bank from Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, the Clockwork Mansion from Dishonored 2 or the Miami Level from Hitman 2. I'm also currently teaching myself how to mod Rimworld, a game I have perhaps too many hours in. 

GAMES I ENJOY

I enjoy lots of games, although I'd say one of my favourite genre is probably the Immersive Sim, games like Deus Ex, Thief, Dishonored, although I also enjoy other genres like stealth games (I greatly enjoy the Metal Gear franchise), strategy games like the XCOM franchise and the occasional MMO (I'm currently an Final Fantasy 14 addict) 

SKILLS

I am confident in my design skill in Unity, have a good understanding of C#, and have a reasonable level of confidence in Unreal's Blueprints an UI Widget systems. I also have some knowledge of World Machine, as well as Adobe's InDesign software. Download my full resume here
